For a Coffee Shop - Investing in a good grinder is a great way to ensure that you maintain precision in grind size
Coffee is too hard a bean to be crushed and ground in a home use kitchen mixer, the burr placement and their materials go a long way to give an even grind.
Well ground coffee is crucial to make a good cup of coffee. You could have the best beans but end up with a bad cup if the coffee is not ground right.
If you make your coffee in a Moka Pot or South Indian Filter Coffee & the Decoction fails to extract well, most likely your coffee is great but the grind size is off the mark.
At Agastya Coffee, we trust the @heycafegrinders to grind the coffee as per your requirement, if you see all our coffee packs with Roasted beans it’s only to maintain freshness. Please request our staff to grind it to your preferred method of Brewing.
Storing coffee as roasted beans and grinding it based on orders, maintains freshness as ground powder exposes the oils and aromas and oxidation happens faster. Roasted beans hold the aromas for as long as 4-6 weeks over ground powder which last good for 2 -3 weeks.
